How do I update my contact information?
You can update your contact information by first logging into the Membership Directory. Enter your last name in the search field on the directory page to find your membership profile. Click on your profile and select the information that you would like to update from the Drop-Down menu. In the field Correction Request, enter your new information. Afterward, click Send Correction Request. ABFE Staff will receive your request and will post the new information.
I forgot my username and/or password. How can I get this information?
If you forgot your username and/or password, please send an email to our Coordinator of Membership Services, Christine Nicholson at cnicholson@abfe.org to retrieve it.
Note: It is important that you keep your username and password secure at all times. Use of the Membership Directory is permitted to current ABFE Members only. In order to promote safe and secure use of the directory, please do not share your username and password with anyone.
Why is my username/password INVALID?
You may have an INVALID USER ID/PASSWORD if you have not renewed your annual membership. If so, please take a moment to renew your membership by completing an online application here. After your renewal application is processed, we will send you your User ID and Password.
If your annual membership is current and you are still experiencing difficulty logging into the Members-Only section, please contact cnicholson@abfe.org
How do I post my picture on my member profile?
Please send your picture to cnicholson@abfe.org. The picture should be a small size and in .gif format (preferable).
How can I post job listings to the ABFE site?
If you are interested in posting a job description on ABFE’s website, please forward the description in MS Word or PDF format (preferable) to cnicholson@abfe.org. Please be sure to include contact information within the text of the job description. The non-membership fee for job postings is $100.00 per post for a six week run. Please include the contact name, email and mailing address of the person who will receive the invoice.
ABFE Institutional Supporters are exempt from the posting fee. Thank you for your interest in ABFE, and we look forward to assisting you in your search for qualified candidates.
Can I pay by credit card to post jobs to the ABFE site?
We prefer that payments for job postings be paid by a check payable to Association of Black Foundation Executives. Checks are due no later than 15 business days after submission of the invoice.
However, if you would like to pay by credit card, please call the ABFE office directly at 646-237-4088. Please provide the name on the credit card, card number, expiration date, billing address, and an email address of the person who will receive the receipt after processing.
How can I post an event to the ABFE site?
If you are interested in posting an event on behalf of your organization to the ABFE website, please forward the event information to cnicholson@abfe.org. Please be sure to include the title of the event, description, time, location, and contact information.
