EFL Associates has been retained to assist in the recruitment of a President/CEO for the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City (www.hcfgkc.org). With assets of nearly $475 million, HCF grants approximately $20 million annually to support its mission of providing “leadership, advocacy and resources to eliminate barriers and promote quality health for uninsured and underserved” in Kansas City, Missouri and its six-county service area. We are seeking candidates who possess:

·         A servant-leader approach with a strong personal value system including humility, integrity, empathy, compassion and commitment to diversity.
·         At least 10 years of leadership experience, with demonstrated passion for health access, population health and/or underserved populations.
·         A solid understanding of health policy and foundation operations, although direct experience in healthcare or philanthropy is not a requirement.
·         Experience managing a significant staff and budget, working with a board, and demonstrated success addressing complex issues in a collaborative manner.
