African Women's Development Fund (AWDF USA) is a US-based public foundation devoted to promoting African and African diaspora women's leadership.  

 

Its initiative, Saving Our Future, is national public awareness campaign to address the alarmingly high rates of infant and maternal mortality among African-American, African and other black communities throughout the nation and the continent.

 

Black women, even those with high incomes and good health care, have more than two times the rate of infant mortality of white women.  

 

The crisis does not stop at America's borders.  African women living on the continent have the world's highest maternal mortality rate.  

 

AWDF USA, led by its Minnesota Committee, with support from co-sponsor, the Minnesota International NGO Network (MINN), have organized and invites you to learn more about this crisis and how you can be a part of the solution at
