Kyumon Murrell

Kyumon Murrell serves as a Trainer/Advisor for Philanthropic Advising Services at ABFE: A Philanthropic Partnership for Black Communities. He is primarily responsible for providing racial equity trainer to clients and creating content related to RPBC presentations.

Prior to joining ABFE, Kyumon worked with the New York State Health Foundation as a part of the Building Healthy Communities programmatic area. At NYSHealth, he used mapping software to conduct an impact analysis on NYSHealth’s grants and subsequent outcomes. He also worked with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) to support its Open School Initiative, and helped in leading the Boston Public Health Commission’s Youth Advisory Board with its public health youth projects.

Kyumon Murrell earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Northeastern University. He prides himself in taking an interdisciplinary approach to health and seeks to be a thought leader in alleviating the effects of health inequities.
