The Organization

At the Bay Area’s doorstep are some of the most beautiful and diverse parklands anywhere. The Golden Gate National Parks extend from San Mateo in the south to Marin County in the north, and include iconic places like Muir Woods, Alcatraz, Ocean Beach, the Presidio, and Crissy Field. The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy (Conservancy) is the nonprofit organization that has worked for 35 years to help preserve these parks and enhance the public’s awareness and enjoyment of these areas.

Position Overview

The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy seeks a new Executive Vice President, Programs and Partnerships to deliver the “For All” aspect of the organization’s “Parks For All Forever” vision—a vision that invites and delights in having diverse communities use the parks and participate in the Conservancy’s public programs, working in partnership with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, schools, businesses and other community stakeholders. With oversight of all departments and programs focused on communicating with and serving the Bay Area community, the role is responsible for ensuring the Parks Conservancy remains on the leading edge as a renowned innovator in park programs and partnerships.
